Pieta (flowers from a boyfriend)
Updated my Portfolio.
A work should be complicated for the artist,
not the viewer.
A work should not cost a lot of money to make,
unless there is a lot of money to be spent making it.
A work should be easy to install.
A work should be easy to deinstall.
Torture is not a necessity.
Until further notice
My current work explores the roles available to me in familiar relationships. My mother performs by mopping a tiled floor surrounded by dried flowers. The arduous chore is a choreograph that I will supposedly follow one day for a loved on as my mother has done for me.
