Street Art Street Life from the 1950’s to Now

Bronx Museum

Open House: Sunday, September 14th 12-6p

This exhibit at Bronx Museum examines how artists have continually found their inspiration in the streets around the world. Curator, Lydia Yee says she hopes these works from different eras and paths such as ” documentary photography, performance, conceptualism, activism and steet culture” will inspire a new younger generation of artists in this show. Check out the website for a detailed press release. The Museum is also holding a variety of Public Programs around the city beginning today, and ending with a Tribute to Shango December 5th.
